Instructor background:
I tend to look at things from the customer's point of view in terms of what they are trying to do, where they might get stuck, and what would make it easier. At Ardent, that means working across the website, campaigns and messaging to make sure things join up properly. A lot of what I do is about simplifying things, whether that is the structure of a page, the wording, or the journey someone takes from seeing us online through to getting qualified. My goal is to help make people confident in their decision to train with Ardent.

Hobbies & Interests:
Most of my time outside of work is spent outdoors – running, walking the dog, cycling or out kayaking when I can. I have always been drawn to the natural world which led me to study Marine & Environmental Biology and I still try to stay connected to that where I can. A recent highlight was time spent aboard Silurian in the Hebrides, supporting marine wildlife work and experiencing (for the first time) life at sea in a very hands on way. Something that has definitely reinforced my love of being on and around the water.

Previous Trips:
Hebrides Expedition – Silurian HWDT
Time spent aboard Silurian supporting marine wildlife work for the Hebridean Whale & Dolphin Trust in the Hebrides. Long days at sea, changing conditions, and an unforgettable way to experience life on the water.
Sea Kayaking – Isle of Skye
A full day out sea kayaking around the Isle of Skye, navigating coastal conditions and exploring the shoreline from the water. A mix of challenge, learning and some incredible scenery.
